The Department of Veteran Affairs has created a new website which will allow veterans receiving medical care to view their medical care history provided by the VA. The link below will take you to the home page where you will see many articles of interest as well as the link to register for this service.
If you know of other veterans who will not receive this email take the opportunity to pass on this information to them.

We Have a New Home

We will now be using the William G. Long Senior Center on Arnold Mill Road next to the fire station. If you are a PEC member (officer of the post) we will be meeting the 1st Thursday of the month at 7:30pm at the Senior Center. The Membership Meetings will be held on the 3rd Thursday of the month at 7:30pm at the Senior Center.
This message is for all members of Post 316 but specifically for members who have recently joined the American Legion or transferred into our post. Should you receive a renewal membership notice please be sure that youmake out and send your payment to AMERICAN LEGION POST 316.PO Box 496, Woodstock, Ga 30188DO NOT mail your payment to National in Indianapolis or to your former post as you will then be reassigned back to Ga Dept, Post 400 or your former post.
On your dues notice you will see a link for renewing on line-saves you a check and postage. It's quick and easy!!
To all members we look forward to your continued committment to the programs of the American Legion. Without your continued membership there would be no American Legion to sponsor and promote programs for our Verterans, our youth and for the community.
Another round of renewal notices will be going out soon. If you have not already renewed you will receive another renewal notice. If you've already renewed and get a renewal notice please contact Irma Martin at 678-662-2366.

Access Post Albums and Photos

I have set up a link to view post event photos on a website. The albums cover many of our recent civic events such as the Flag Retirement programs, Memorial Day Ceremony,4th of July and Christmas parades and more. Visit from time to time as more albums will be added.
INSTRUCTIONS: Go the link Snapfish Post Photos shown on the left under MAIN MENU. Once page opens look for the login on the right. The default email address is and DO NOT change. Type in postpics for the password. Once logged in you will see the "recent albums". Click Go toPhotos to see list of all albums.Highlight the one you want to see and then click on show slide show.

alp316.streampowerup.biz . This is a fantastic gas service deal for members and a source of funds for our post and I wanted to spalsh it all over our site to get folks to enroll.
